Parish Commissions

 

Mental Health Support Group -- Meets every Monday 7-9PM. All are welcome; there are no fees. It is affiliated with the Depressive, Manic-Depressive Association of York County.
Worship and Spirituality Commission --This commission is responsible for providing programs and supports for the spiritual enhancement of parishioners. It is also responsible for the implementation of Church teaching with regard to Liturgy, and for the planning and implementation of our liturgical celebrations.
Faith Formation --This commission is responsible for overseeing and guiding the implementation of our entire religious education program, pre-school through adult. Our special Religious Ed. Program, and the RCIA also fall under the sponsorship of this commission.
Social Justice and Peace Commission --This commission is to be the "eyes and ears" of the Parish in matters of social justice and issues involving the promotion of justice and peace. It sponsors programs which are meant to educate us with regard to church teaching on issues of social justice, and aim to keep us aware of our responsibilities as Christians in the world. This commission sponsors Pax Christi and the Pure Committee. The members of this commission work with the Peace and Justice Commission of Notre Dame Parish.
Youth Ministry Commission --This commission is responsible for providing programs and activities for the Christian formation and human development of our youth and young adults. Its membership is comprised of youth and adult youth ministers working in cooperation to provide appropriate programs and activities.
Finance and Administration Commission --This commission is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative concerns of the Parish. Working closely with the pastor, the commission guides him in his duties regarding parish employees, the overseeing of the annual parish budget, and other matters of financial importance as they arise.
Knights of Columbus -- The Knights of Columbus Council #11704, representing Most Holy Trinity and Notre Dame de Lourdes Parishes, meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. The Knights are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Only you can make us "the strong right arm of the Church!"
