The Finance Commision is advisory to the Pastor. We develop a budget for the Parish, which is then reviewed by the Parish Council, with final approval by our Pastor. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. We review updated reports of all income/ expense items with year to date figures. These are then compared to budgeted figures year to date. We also review all bank balances. The Commission makes recommendations to the Pastor on any actions needed to keep the budget in balance during the year. A Chair and Co-Chair are appointed each year, with the Co-Chair becoming Chair the following year.
We meet at 7pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, in the Conference Room of the Parish. All meetings are started with a prayer, followed by reading and reflection of the Gospel for the following Sunday.
